2012: Luxembourg's Official Development Assistance at 1% of GNI
The OECD's Development Assistance Committee (DAC) published its statistics on official development assistance (ODA) disbursed in 2012.
Against the backdrop of the on-going crisis, the Members of the DAC have disbursed USD 125,6 billion in 2012 for development, which represents a reduction of 4% in real terms from the 2011 figures. A more in-depth analysis of the figures shows a reduction of flows to least developed countries.
For its part, Luxembourg has been able to slightly increase its aid and with an ODA representing 1% of its gross national income, it takes the first rank of the OECD Member states.
