First regular 2011 session of the Executive Board of UNDP/UNFPA

From January 31st to February 3rd 2011, Luxembourg participated at the 1st regular session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Population Fund in New York.

UNDP and UNFPA are key actors for the implementation of Luxembourg's official development assistance, which, since 2009, exceeds 1% of Luxembourg's GNI. In 2004, Luxembourg signed cooperation agreements with UNDP and UNFPA which foresee regular contributions to the core budget and thematic activities of the two Funds, thus ensuring them greater budgetary predictability and operational flexibility.
