Luxembourg signs new Partnership Framework Agreements with UNDP, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNCDF and OCHA

On 8 June 2011, the Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs, Ms Marie-Josée Jacobs, signed new Partnership Framework Agreements with the Heads of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). The agreements mark a milestone towards increased coordination and harmonization among international development stakeholders, and increase aid predictability.

The next day, a Partnership Framework Agreement was, for the first time, also signed with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
